Budget Responsibility: | Personal sales quota and in 15 months company sales quota |
Purpose of the Role
- Lead sales growth by expanding market penetration, optimizing commercial activities, and driving profitability.
- Promote customer-focused culture, aligning teams to enhance collaboration, motivation, and service excellence.
- Anticipate industry trends and adjust strategies for competitive advantage across hardware, software, and services.
Customers
- Internal: Product & Solutions Team for product/Commercial support, HR, Marketing, Factory, Sales, Pre-Sales
- External: End-users, Resellers, Ambassadors/Agents, Distributors, Consultants
Main activities
- Drive sales growth, meet targets, and provide accurate forecasts while managing customer relationships and key accounts.
- Oversee pricing, profitability, and resource allocation to meet financial goals across the region.
- Develop and maintain executive-level relationships with strategic customers, identifying new business opportunities and securing new products.
- Lead and manage sales performance, implementing corrective actions and tracking incentive plans to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure effective lead generation, CRM utilization, and coordination with regional leadership for strategic development.
- Provide strategic market intelligence and contribute to long-term growth plans and portfolio development.
- Manage sales team administration, including training, performance reviews, and organizational planning.
Experience / Skills / Other
Mandatory
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Engineering or Technology field (Science, Information Technology)
- At least 15 years of management experience in a sales organization with a strong focus on P&L responsibility
- Good knowledge of the Middle East and African culture and customer landscape
- Successful track record in leading organizations and teams of at least 5
Others
- Extensive travel is expected at 50% of the year across Middle - East and Africa
