Purpose of the Role

• Key objective is DC solution architect capability to independently prepare concept (defining and consulting client parameters of DC)
• To understand, to perform, to delegate and engineering services during all stages of MPeDC project cycle including lead tech qualification, RFP, proposal, all design levels, site selection, quality assurance in production, commissioning, on-site start up and handover to operation

Customers

• Internal: Sales and Marketing team, Engineering team (in terms of R & D), Delivery team
• External: End-users, Resellers, Ambassadors/Agents, Distributors, Consultants, Vendors

Main activities

• To support sales and marketing teams to win and successfully deliver deals by providing ownership of technical solutions and competitive cost estimation along with the team
• To promote all products in Altron Modular portfolio and key company differentiators (define, refine, pitch and calibrate)
• To build techno-commercial awareness about the company and products on the targeted international markets (UAE, KSA, SA, Nigeria, Kenya) and support the key account development in EU
• Ownership of technical tasks and a high degree of independence in delivering the top quality required in the industry and by AM clients
• Key member of head engineering team for product development and contributing to ideas for R&D team (total capacity of solution architects 2)
• Navigating within multiple bidding and delivery processes in different stages at the same time
• Working closely together with the leadership, sales managers, analysts, and marketing to establish a strong pipeline

Experience / Skills / Other

Mandatory

• 10+ years of technical experience in a Data Center company
• Professional from data center industry with proven record of tech consultancy / solution architect services
• Strong experience with data center and projects life cycle, sales cycles, international industry standards, overview of trends, leading manufacturers and technologies
• Presentation and sales skills with a focus on enterprise clients
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and other design and calculation software
• Preferably certified by international authority in DC (Uptime, CNET etc.)
• Problem-solving attitude and persistence
