Senior Project Manager

Purpose of the Role

The purpose of this role is to take full ownership of the delivery phase of international modular data centre projects from contract signature through to final customer handover, ensuring delivery in line with agreed scope, timeline, quality, and financial targets. The role combines customer-facing project leadership with coordination of multidisciplinary teams across engineering, manufacturing, logistics, and on-site execution within complex, technically demanding project environments.

Responsibilities

  • Take full responsibility for project delivery from contract signature through to final handover to the client
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the customer throughout the project lifecycle
  • Ensure delivery in line with agreed contractual scope, timeline, and quality standards
  • Manage project financial performance during execution, with a focus on:
    • overall project margin
    • cash flow management
    • mitigation of contractual penalties and claims
  • Oversee project scheduling, including achievement of key invoicing-related milestones
  • Coordinate cross-functional internal teams including design, engineering, manufacturing, logistics, and installation, as well as external suppliers and partners
  • Work closely with the Lead Project Engineer and Technical Authority
  • Provide regular project status reporting to senior management

Project Scope

  • Projects typically valued at:
    • approximately CZK 50–100 million as standalone assignments, or
    • multiple concurrent projects valued at CZK 10–30 million each
  • Internationally focused projects with cross-border delivery elements
  • Complex delivery environments with strong interdependencies between engineering, manufacturing, and site execution

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience managing complex technical or engineering projects
  • Demonstrated responsibility for project financial outcomes
  • Ability to independently lead high-value, technically complex projects
  • Experience operating within an international business environment
  • Strong stakeholder management and structured communication skills across clients and internal teams
  • Professional working proficiency in English
  • Willingness to travel extensively and maintain on-site presence during project execution
